Testimonials

We are so fortunate to be thousand's of miles away from home and still be able to get the kids so close to Indian Culture. This would have been impossible without DAVM. Words can't explain it all. It's simply impossible to guage what the kids observe, learn and grow with for the rest of their lives. Even kids in India are so much away from the culture compared to what the kids here in Houston area learn here at DAVM. Our twin boys went to DAVM and they love every bit of it. They have no stage fear, a lot of confidence and not to mention the Yoga, Hindi and strong mathematics and science (So it's not just about Indian Culture Only). Every single student at DAVM performs on stage so many times during any given year that they get a special level of confidence in them. The amazing teachers like Ms Chetna, Ms Aruna, Ms Madhu, Ms Shubha, Ms Sangeeta and not to mention the amazing director Ms Arti. I would like to personally thank the people (Dev Ji, Shekhar Ji and others who worked behind the scenes) who dreamed about DAVM and then turned it into reality. Had they not thought about it, our kids would not have had this wonderful opportunity to be a student in this school. Nobody asked us to write this testimonial, but we know we owe this to the school. DAVM, thank you very much.

One fine day, my grand daughter Anagha called my residence in Mumbai and asked me whether I would like to hear the vedic hymns over the phone. I was surprised to hear the 'Shivasankalpa' from her mouth. I was overjoyed and that initiated an earnest desire in my mind to visit her school as soon as I get to Houston. I got an opportunity to visit her school, D.A.V. Montessori School on 26th March, 2010 on the occasion of Father's Day.
I am highly impressed with the DAV school's efforts to inculcate the Indian Culture and spiritualism in the student's mind along with high quality american education.
I correlate the DAV School's efforts to the efforts of Shri Swami Vivekananda who appealed to the Americans from the stage of the world conference on religions in Chicago to come together and spread the knowledge, spiritualism and science across the globe. This is an effort to truly transform the whole world into "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" i.e. one world family.
I congratulate the management, Shri. Dev Mahajan, Shri Shekhar Agarwal, other trustee members, the Director Ms. Aarti Khanna and the excellent team of well-versed teachers who helped the school to flourish during a small span of ten years.
I wish them all the best in these efforts.
