Introduction

D.A.V. Montessori School was established in the year 2000 to provide quality education based on the Montessori philosophy and moral & cultural values. The school serves children ages 2.5 years through 7 years. Our dedicated staff consists of Montessori certified, college educated lead teachers and trained assistants. D.A.V.M. provides a loving, nurturing and caring environment, as we believe that each child is a born learner and helping them reach their full potential is our goal. 

According to Maria Montessori “The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the birth to the age of six.” Montessori approach to education sets high standards for intellectual and social development of the child. Montessori classroom provides a learning environment that reinforces children’s independence and helps them reach unusual level of development through the process of exploration and discovery with concrete, hands on materials. A Montessori classroom provides freedom within the limits which develops a sense of order and self-discipline. Montessori education prepares the child to be independent, responsible, and a life long learner.
